Entrepreneurs are those people who are able to work, organize other, take decisions, develop and improve products and services with the main purpose of helping others with what they are offering for the market.
Young Indian entrepreneurs under 30 years, as any other entrepreneurs all over the world are doing the same. They are developing products and services putting their own ideas and dreams in practice.
Ritesh Agarwal is a very young and promising entrepreneur from India. Even if he’s only 22 years old, we can say that he has a few years of experience behind because he started his business career when he was only 17 years old.
It was a tough decision for him when he had to choose between school and his future business career. His family knew that he’s studying, but he gave up on school and started to build his own business, called Oravel Stays.
The business patters is the same with Airbnb, but just one year later he decided that the minimum facilities aren’t enough, so he turned his business into OYO Rooms.
Now, this is the largest hotel chain from India and it covers over 160 cities from this country, having a capacity over 40,000 rooms.
Rahul Yadav is another young Indian entrepreneur under 30 – actually he’s 26 years old.
He co-founded a real estate portal, and his success came up quickly because the specialists say that the platform that was just created had sales around $8 million in the first week. Not too long after that, he was dismissed from the company that he created.
The idea with the real estate portal came up when he and some of his classmates were in need of accommodation in Mumbai, but it was pretty hard to find something suitable for some students.
During this project and others he was able to learn some programming languages, even if he’s primary school field was about metallurgy.
Something important that you should know about Rahul is that he quit college in the last year of study.
As you can see, there are two main common points that those two mans have: they both quit school and they founded companies that were very profitable. The reasons why Rahul and Ritesh founded those companies are the same: they were in need of something and the market form that time wasn’t offering them what they expected.
This is a clear sign that they are entrepreneurs: as we also said in the beginning, entrepreneurs are those people who are in need of something, or people who notice that something doesn’t work and they put their ideas in practice, working hard, developing and improving systems that can resolve some humanity problems.
It is not a clear sign that if you want to become an entrepreneur you have to quit school, because there are many young Indian entrepreneurs under 30 years that finished their studies, get even a master diploma and used the knowledge from college to build their own products and companies.
